Entry Requirements for University of the Free State Undergraduate Courses:
In order to be eligible for admission to study undergraduate courses, applicants need to meet minimum entry requirements for admission into UFS. See the general admission entry requirements below.
- A National Senior Certificate (NSC) or National Certificate: Vocational (NCV) Level 4, or an AP of 18 – 24 for admission to Bachelors Degree.
- Four subjects on level 3 (40%–49%).
- Language of instruction on level 3 (40%) for all options.

How to Apply to Study UFS Undergraduate Courses:
Check the application opening date and the deadline: UFS Application is often opens on the 1st of April. Also, the closing date for undergraduate study application at UFS is 30 September.
Payment of Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of R120 is required when submitting the online application.
Online Application: Prospective students can apply online through the UFS website. The online application portal is opened from 1st April to 30 September. Applicants are required to complete the application form and upload all the required documents online.
